Country/nature loving couple Details: We love our small farm and the area where we live! We have a variety of farm animals as we raise most of our own food. We plant large gardens and process the harvest for future use. We enjoy camping and hiking and spending time with our kids and grandkids! Home Town: Our farm is located a few miles from two small towns. Shelby lies to the NW and New Era to the SW. we are about 15 miles East of the famous Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Julie and Dale are kind, friendly gracious hosts and spent a couple hours showing us around the farm. They have a few large gardens and grow just about everything! They even kindly offered us some of their fresh grown peppers and cukes. It is conveniently located off M-31. The last mile or so is a well graded dirt road to get to the farm. They also have available fresh chicken eggs. And fresh raw milk via a herd-share program. We had a very quiet nights sleep on a mostly level grassy area near their farm stand with water and 30A hookups available. Our TMobile signal was enough to stream Netflix. We will definitely be back if we pass through this area again!
