House Rules

We welcome well behaved children and pets. Please keep dogs on leash as the property is not fully fenced. We do have a fire ring with a spark arrester that you may use. It must, however, be kept on the asphalt. We are non-smokers and request that if you smoke you dispose of the buts in an appropriate manner; please do not leave them on the ground. The parking area is not graded smoothly. So, if you have had a few cocktails watch your step. We don't mind if you stay up after hours but please keep the noise to a low rumble.

Location

The area is asphalt but not level like a roadway. The driveway is along the side of the house. Drivers must be careful navigating the corner of the house. Once you have cleared the corner it's a straight shot with plenty of room to turn around.

My husband and I grew up in Fairfield. We have been married since October 1983. Our house sits on 2.5 acres which gives my flower addicted husband a lot of room to plant flowers in his garden. I'm the happy beneficiary of his efforts! In the near future he will be joining me in retirement. This will give us more time to travel and see more of this country. We currently have a Tiffin Allegro Red 38QRA and are very happy with it. The furthest we have gone in our RV, other than bringing it home from Arizona, is Oregon. We love the coast. Sitting watching the waves wash upon the beach sipping a glass of wine is our idea of relaxation. Our dogs, Sophie and Luci, are great travel companion. They love the RV life.

Enjoyed our tour of the garden and the sweet oranges we picked. Would love to see it in full bloom. Very pleasant hosts and a quiet night.

This host was very understanding about changes and helped with quick answers to the best route to avoid traffic from an event in the area! We also liked how she helped us with tips to pull in and out of the property for easy access. The parking was gravel, level (a little uneven for walking but beats mud any day) and we loved feeding the horses, petting the beautiful show dogs and waking up to the gobble of a Tom turkey. We look forward to stopping here on our next trip to visit family in San Francisco!

Leanne and her husband's place was a beautiful open field that was covered in asphalt with plenty of room. As the description states, getting around the corner of the house was the only issue you had to deal with, and she was out to help. She was very nice and we enjoyed talking to her. She provided some recommendations on where to go in Sonoma, which was the purpose of our overnight stay, I highly recommend Leanne and her husband, Pat.

I got there the day after a big storm. The parking area is ground up asphalt so walking at night could be a challange, but it was level. They had other empty RV's on the area but I was the only one. Nice quiet area except fot the occasional air force plane was was fine with me, I got some good shots of them flying over. I had a trailer so making the turn around the house was no problem, a long 40 foot RV might have a different experience. I was invited back and will take them up on it next time I'm in the area so I can see the flower garden.
