We have two spots available. Site 1 is flat and level with full hook ups (50/30/20 amp, water, and sewer). Site 2 is sloped, but is larger and has more privacy than Site 2, and has electricity (50/30/20 amp) and water (no sewer). We do not accept donations for hookups. We are a few minutes to the shore of Medina Lake and 35 minutes to the outer edge of San Antonio (50 minutes to downtown). We’re in the hill country and have walking trails on our property. Our property is rural, with a dirt driveway with some uneven and some steep grade. We live on 7 acres, with lots of deer and some other wild animals that visit from time to time. We keep our RV and truck camper on our property when not traveling. In addition to our house where we live, we also have a couple of shipping containers - one is our storage unit and the other one is an office where we work from home. We are a family of 5 (Mom, Dad, and three kids), and we homeschool/roadshcool our children. Suggested Local Attractions: Medina Lake, Town of Bandera, Hill Country Suggested San Antonio Attractions: San Antonio Missions (including The Alamo), River Walk, Six Flags, Sea World, Tower of The Americas Let us know if you need to stay longer. Please keep your dogs on a leash.

Watch your children. Clean up your trash, and everything you use. No smoking or drinking on the property - you’re welcome to smoke in your RV and to drink in or near your RV. Location

We have a dirt driveway, part of it is steep, with some tight corners. If your RV has low ground clearance, you might not be able to enter our driveway without bottoming out. If you have a trailer, four wheel drive is recommended because you may lose traction on the steepest part of the driveway, especially if it has rained. Motor homes might also struggle with traction if it rains. ----Fifth Wheel and Class A Owners: Our property is heavily wooded, clearance under the tree branches is as low as 14 feet, and parts of the driveway are steep. We have successfully hosted many large 5th wheel and Class A rigs, but about 1 in 5 guests with such rigs have found this to be difficult/undesirable. If you would prefer not to deal with this kind of terrain, we'll understand if you decide to stay elsewhere. If this is not an issue for you, then we look forward to hosting you. --Our available site has water and 50/30/20 Amp electric hookups, is parallel to the driveway, and will accommodate larger RVs. --There’s room to park your tow vehicle next to the rig. Sometimes we have a second space available. Check back later or send us a message for availability on a second spot.

Nice quiet spot in an out-of-the spot. Danny was super communicative and met us as we got there to show us where to set up. Danny seems to have being the gracious host down to a science! He also had a great welcome text that he sent everyone letting them know good places to eat, do laundry, and sights to see. One close spot that we found nearby was the “Hill Country State Nature Area” that had nice hiking trails and lots of wildlife. Bandera is a neat little town not to far away also.

We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet, great place to camp with a wonderful host. The access is gated, terrain is rough, but trails had some nice views. Will stay again if we are ever back.
