We were very pleased with the setting, the amenities and the hosts. Pat could not have been more welcoming and one evening both Pat and Dave joined us for a fireside chat, which was most enjoyable. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this site to everyone.

LamFamCamp is a peaceful, very quiet Boondockers Welcome. It is miles from any busy road or train tracks and yet easy to get to on a good road. Pat and Dave are very gracious and helpful with ideas for things to do in the area. Their hospitality was only outdone by the beautiful night sky with an awesome view of the Milky Way. Huge area to park with water and electricity if needed. We were the first to use the new firepit and enjoyed some wonderful conversion! It is about an hour from Voyaguers National Park and close to the "range" cities. Chisholm, Hibbing, Virginia etc. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Pat and Dave🥰

I didn’t want to leave, if that tells you anything!!! I have stayed at quite a few places, and this one stands out in my mind. I was their third guest and I’m serious when I say that I felt like we had known each other for a lifetime on just the first day. I stayed at the camp for 3 nights. P. waved at me as I was driving down the road and wondering if I was at the right house. My GPS said I had arrived at the windsock before getting to the home. I was thankful P waved me in. They are the next home on the right if you’re unsure. There were multiple places to park and she let me choose what would work for me. They had just installed a gravel drive that was easy to back into and had water/15 amp. While I was there, I cisited the Vince Schute Wildlife Sanctuary, the Soudan Underground mine (although they aren’t going underground this year), the Mining Museum in Chisholm and the Hull Rust Open Pit Mine. It was a very enjoyable stay with my hosts suggesting places to visit. The best part was our dogs got along wonderfully and we were able to let them play quite a bit!! Finn was pretty sad to go. I would not hesitate to stay here again!! It was a very enjoyable visit. THIS is the reason I love BW!!!!

Our hosts were so welcoming and kind. Pat made us the most delicious cookies for the road. We had a quiet night in the country on our way to Voyagers National Park. Thank you!
