I have been working on my van for about a year just during my down time at work. I'm waiting until my youngest is out of school then plan on a journey of my lifetime of hiking all over America. I enjoy boonedocking because I can still meet people and be connected with people all over the USA. At this stage, I'm taking off when I can as far as I can go with the days off that I have. I'm a 'hike it one time only' kind of trail hiker and I keep having to go farther because I've ran out of hikes close to home! Home Town: My home town is a small rural farming community. Most people are very friendly and always helpful. We are close to bigger towns that offer shopping, restaurants, and other recreational things. I've hosted many people on my farm and have really enjoyed all their traveling stories which keeps me motivated to get on out there!
