About
Perfect location in Jacksonville and the Applegate Valley. Just 9-miles outside of downtown shops/bars/restuarants of Jacksonville. Perfect stay for the Britt Concerts. Plus, right in the heart of all the Vineyards. Easy access of main road. Just a 1/2 mile away from the Ruch Country Market, which has all your essential needs. The property is the last house on a dead-end street, so it's super quiet. The road is well-graded compacted dirt/rock. The RV spots are mostly flats and in the shade (or sunny, if you want). Views are amazing, and even better at sunset. Water hookup available. Sewer dump is via a macerater pump onsite. We have a washer /dryer available. Cell service is very strong. Well behaved pets are always welcome. Contributions for use of the electric and Washer/Dryer is always appreciated. Please note: we have (1) 50-amp or (2) 30-amp hookups, so first-come /first served.
Harvest Host / Boondocking does NOT give me this setup option, but we prefer guests for 2-5 nites. We hope our beautiful Applegate Valley is more than a 1-nite-stand. Enjoy dinner in Jacksonville, or a Vineyard or swim in the Lake.
Respectfully. Thanks have changed with the merger of Harvest Host and Boondockers.com. I am a traveler that has graciously used and appreciated the RV/camping locations of both websites. So I became a Host in an effort to give-back to like-minded people. I think we all want nice / safe / and free camping options, away from typical campgrounds. In hosting, I'm hoping to share a brief connection, and perhaps help guests with fun/cool stuff to do in the area. What I don't want, is mooch-camping. There is zero-value for me to offer my property, if you don't stop-in and say Hi or Thank You. I'm not trying to be your best-friend, but general common courtesy is losing the battle. I don't want someone that is working in the area, and uses my location for free, so they don't have to pay-rent. Remote jobs from your RV are perfectly fine, but if you're staying hereto avoid "rente", please mobve-on. That kills the whole give-back vibe.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. YES, we have met some great travelers, and have enjoyed that very much. Hopefully those that request a booking are interested in exploring the area, or traveling thru to their next destination. Please don't use my location, as a temporary place to live, while you physically go to work each day. THANKS
