About
Nestled just 10 minutes from The Dalles, Oregon, Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm is proud to partner with McLaughlin Lavender to welcome Harvest Hosts guests. Surrounded by rolling hills, scenic views, and rows of fragrant lavender, our farm offers a peaceful place to relax and reconnect with nature. Harvest Hosts guests stay in a quiet, semi-shaded area near Mill Creek—perfect for unwinding under the trees while enjoying the soothing sounds of water and the scent of lavender in bloom. Limited cell service depending on carrier. Keep in mind, this is a working farm, the dirt and gravel roads to get into the harvest host site are uneven, and we will be running the wheel line and irrigation periodically throughout the summer. McLaughlin Lavender is a Native American and women-owned small business, passionate about crafting high-quality, all-natural products. From calming bath salts and essential oils to handcrafted candles, culinary blends, and lavender sprays—everything is made with care using lavender grown right here. Many products are rooted in herbalism and the belief in plant-based wellness. You’ll find soothing salves, smudge bundles, teas, and more designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit. Visit our Little Farm Store (the white lofted barn across from the lavender field) during your stay! Our shop is a work in progress, please forgive our mess! Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm also serves as a unique event venue, hosting weddings, retreats, and gatherings in a stunning, natural setting. Interested in booking your event? Email hoffmanhillslavenderfarm@gmail.com or visit hoffmanhillslavender.com to learn more. While you’re here, enjoy seasonal shopping, farm-fresh eggs, lavender plants, and—when available—guided tours or behind-the-scenes peeks at how we grow and process lavender. Lavender UPick is available June–September depending on bloom cycles. Please note: – The irrigation pump near the Harvest Hosts area may need to be run to water the farm. We’ll do our best not to disturb you when turning it on/off. It’s not very loud and typically won’t disturb your rest—we just like to give guests a heads-up. – There are active beehives on-site—please keep your distance for yours, and the bees safety – Fire ban starts June 1; all guests must follow the ban. – For your safety, stay on designated walkways and be mindful of wildlife, including snakes. Whether you’re here to rest, shop, or take in the beauty, we’re honored to share this special place with you.
