🌿 Welcome to Fern Valley Oasis I’m so excited to host you at my peaceful, private getaway tucked into the hills of Washington. With 41 acres of lush evergreens, mowed trails, friendly animals, and the soothing sounds of a waterfall-fed stream, this is a place to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with nature. My journey began in a small Massachusetts town where I grew up on a 7-acre farm with nine siblings. After high school, I proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. I went on to earn my degree in education, raised four amazing children (all grown and thriving now!), and spent over 30 years as a volunteer EMT and firefighter. I’ve worn many hats—teacher, pastor, pilot, skydiver, USCG Master Captain, and lifelong animal rescuer—and today, I’m honored to represent all military women as Washington's only Military Women Memorial Ambassador. Fern Valley Oasis is more than just a stopover—it’s a peaceful sanctuary. The property features a single, secluded 20x40 gravel RV pad with easy in/out access through a paved, gated drive just off SR6. Surrounded by trees and manicured grass, the site includes a fenced dog yard and views that will steal your breath at both sunrise and sunset. While there’s no 30/50 amp service, a standard outlet is nearby for light electric use, and generators and slide-outs are welcome (quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM). 🐾 Dogs are welcome, too—but for their safety and the harmony of the farm, they must stay in the RV area or fenced dog run and be leashed on trails. While here, you can enjoy a barnyard tour, frame a photo with one of our farm animals, or let little ones (under 50 lbs) take a pony ride. I also rent kayaks and beach kits for more adventurous guests. Depending on the season, you can hike to the property’s 10-foot waterfall—shaded by towering evergreens and framed by endless ferns—and sip a glass of wine while the creek hums gently in the background. 📵 Cell service is limited, and WiFi is not available unless you're traveling with your own (like Starlink). Whether you’re visiting nearby Olympia or just seeking a restful escape, Fern Valley Oasis is a place to recharge, reflect, and experience the warmth of a host who’s honored to share her land—and her story—with you.
