Be ready for peaceful nights under the stars by the fire (unless no-burn restrictions) sipping hot cacao drinks or herbal teas and maybe some s'mores or other made from scratch snacks or treats. Wake up to the fresh air and grab your own eggs straight from the coop or ask for us to place some out for you. Feed or pet the potbelly pigs, chickens, Nigerian Dwarf goats or our very friendly livestock guardian Great Pyrenees dogs Juniper and Tula who we will let greet you upon your request. Otherwise we will keep them out of your hair by default. Got toys? We are just 1/4 mile from a very popular set of trails on BLM land. Don't have toys? We can arrange for you to rent one of ours! Want a leisurely hike in the morning or a sunset hike with a great view? Drive just 10 mins over to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Trailhead off Jomax and Dysart road. Pick food from our gardens or possibly attend a gardening class if one is available during your stay. We have hot showers available in the guest bathroom or a tub soak in the master of that's what you need. Yoga Nidra mediation sessions are available upon request and are a great way to start your day or get you wound down in the evening. Take some eggs or locally picked (no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers) fruit to go. Maybe you even want some baby chicks fresh out of the incubator or a little older from the brooder? From our location you are only 6 miles from a brand new Fry's Marketplace which has everything from groceries to housewares and clothes. You are only 15 mins from Sprouts and lots of amenities off Happy Valley Rd and the loop 303. They have everything from shopping to fine dining and you can even watch a movie at the theater. This is the perfect blend of regenerative, healthy living with just enough modern living to leave you feeling fully satisfied.
