Organic and sulfite free wines from Arizona. Years ago, we owned a ranch in Mariposa County, California. One day, on the land, called Mockingbird Ranch, my sons brought home some mysterious clusters. Intrigued, we discovered an abandoned vineyard that while derelict, was still producing. Harvesting everything, we made wine for the first time in 1974. Now, 50 years later in an unexpected place, we reignited our passion for winemaking in Southern Arizona. Starting with the Tucson winery in 2016, we later purchased our Willcox vineyard in 2022 and produced our first estate wines the following year. We are excited to share this journey with you as we make our passion into product. Our Willcox vineyard provides space for you to dry camp with your camper or RV. Our tasting room will be open during your stay, and we are surrounded by other wineries with their own tasting rooms for you to enjoy. We are 22 miles away from Chiricahua National Monument, 31 miles from the Willcox Playa National Natural Landmark, 48 miles from Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area, and plenty more southwest beauty. Downtown Willcox is 15 miles away, Tombstone and Safford are an hour drive, and Bisbee is just over an hour. From late Fall into early Spring expect to see and hear the Sandhill Cranes as this special piece of the Sonoran Desert is the most southern region for their winter migration.
