Welcome to our developing 20-acre desert camping retreat along Historic Route 66 just outside Kingman, Arizona. If you enjoy quiet desert landscapes, incredible sunsets, star-filled skies, and the freedom of the open road, we’d love to host you during your Route 66 travels. Our property is designed with self-contained RVers, van travelers, overlanders, and road adventurers in mind — a peaceful place to pull off the Mother Road, relax for the evening, and experience the beauty of the Mojave Desert. Conveniently located near the Route 66 and Interstate 40 corridor southwest of Kingman, our location makes an ideal overnight stop for travelers exploring Northern Arizona and the historic Route 66 region. We are currently developing the property into a simple, low-impact desert camping destination while preserving the natural beauty and open space that make this area so special. Guests can enjoy wide open views, quiet surroundings, amazing sunsets beyond the mountains, and some of the darkest night skies in the Southwest. The Kingman and Oatman corridor is one of the most scenic and historic stretches of Route 66. Nearby attractions include the famous mountain drive into Oatman featuring the “Sidewinder” — 191 curves in just 9 miles — along with historic mining towns, wild burros roaming the streets, and countless scenic desert viewpoints. Our goal is to create a welcoming stop where fellow travelers can rest, recharge, and connect with others who share a love for RV travel, overlanding, and the adventure of the open road. Future plans for the property include community gathering areas, shaded spaces, outdoor cooking areas, and additional amenities designed specifically for self-contained travelers.
