Accessible, maintained blacktop highways to our 34-acre property. Your rig will overlook a valley where the horses and donkeys roam the pasture. You are welcome to use your generator as needed. Photos are welcome! We are 20 minutes NE of Yreka, California, a quaint old mining town with modern amenities, and 35 minutes from Ashland, Oregon, a cultural mecca. We want to make your stay here enjoyable and memorable. And we hope you'll consider choosing a horse adventure during your stay. All horse experiences are facilitated by your host, a horse professional with many years of providing equine-assisted learning, therapeutic sessions, mentoring, and helping horses and their owners develop good relationships. To participate in any horse experiences listed below, a liability waiver will need to be signed. Horse Adventure Choices: 1. Horse Connection Coaching How to meet and interact with horses and donkeys, release fear or stress, read and respond to their nonverbal signals, communication vs domination, set boundaries, and focus on relationship building $40/person or couple 1 hr 2. Positive Horse Training and Horse Communication How to use specific techniques and practices of positive reinforcement in clicker training, marking, and relationship building designed for horse owners (or future owners) and trainers $40/person or couple 1 hr 3. Wellness Session Bring a specific healing intention and co-create a story with horses and donkeys as teachers and healers $50/person or couple 1-1.5 hrs 4. Riding Off-site Our horses and donkeys are not ridden by guests. If you wish to go on a guided group trail ride, Iet me know several weeks ahead of your stay and I will give you the name and number of a local riding stable.
