About
First off, let me welcome you to Newberry springs a short distance from I-15, I-40, and Barstow California two hours from Vegas and two hours from Needles and two hours from certain areas in Southern California. Our town is so quaint we don’t even have a stoplight. There is so much to do and that’s why I am now a tour guide. route66tours.com. I am also an ambassador to Newberry springs as I am Miss Route 66 Centennial Princess 2026. I also provide weddings, Vow renewals, and proposals. I encourage weekend stays. We have an 8 acre property right on Route 66 National Trails Highway, we are close to I 40, we are close to a BNSF train. We do have a sound more like a soft rumble from the train and I 40 and occasionally during the day the train blows the horn when cars are present. we are lucky to have a dark skies location so you will be able to enjoy Stargazing. Our High desert climate gives us some advantages with no fleas and no mosquitoes
There are views of the mountains and spots where you can enjoy the sunset or the sunrise. We have a 1929 home that we are renovating for renting and events is a very ample number of trees on both sides of our property, including a date palm park area. Currently the front gate entrance is a little tricky to navigate, but we have had multiple RVs of big rigs in our front gate.
However, new openings will be generated to make it more convenient and wider and less stress to come into our property. We are close to some very enjoyable tourist attractions like the Bagdad Café, The Barn Route 66, bar and Grill and event center , the American Legion and our Drifting Sands Cafe found one more our Mexican café called Newberry Cafe with burgers as well at the Chevron station and Subway . We are close to lots of outdoor activities offloading and our famous Calico, Ghost Town and Dagett historical town
Route 66 is celebrating 100 years. We have a house that was built in 1929. We took possession in January 2026 so there’s much to do but it’s a very peaceful place safe and very roomy for you to come and enjoy . The plans for the home is to have rentals. The plans for outside include weddings with a nice Chapel with reception area.
Additional plans include Having our date palm park, part a very peaceful and enjoyable location both day at night with lights
We have many older trees and many palm trees, we have an area for tent campers.
Dawn and her faithful friend Belle are on site.
