About
Cozy 5-acre slice of learning, laughter, and hands-on experiences just east of Parker, Colorado. This is a place to unplug from the usual and reconnect with animals, nature, and yourself.
Our vision? To offer more than just a place to park. We want to create memorable experiences rooted in curiosity, care, and connection. You can add to your experience in a variety of ways:
— Choose from structured interactions with our animals. Have you ever milked a goat? Now's your chance! How about taking an alpaca through an obstacle course? We also have chickens and bees if learning about them is more your style. We have a spicy Thoroughbred horse that will gladly take a head scratch while you're at it:)
— Take a 1 hr class (roughly) and explore homesteading skills. Learn how to make chevre (goat cheese) or bake a nice loaf of bread. Maybe participating in all the homesteading chores is right up your alley. Caring for all the animals is a great way to start or end the day.
** We highly encourage you to view offerings on our website and we'll do our best to schedule a unique experience during your visit.
Not up for a full activity? That’s okay too. You're welcome to kick back, relax, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of our property. Observe the shenanigans of the animals, breathe in the fresh air, and take in the rhythm of homestead life.
Don't leave without taking a snoop through our seasonal farmstand to take a bit of the "homestead" on your travels. You may find whipped honey, alpaca clothing, vegetables, repurposed feed totes, and fresh baked bread, to name a few!
Rex’s Ranch welcomes everyone from curious kids to adventurous seniors. You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy what we do here. In fact, we celebrate beginners. If you’ve ever found yourself Googling “how to keep backyard chickens” or dreaming about sustainable living, this place is for you.
So pack your muck boots (or your metaphorical ones), come as you are, ask all the questions, and join us in embracing the beautifully messy, endlessly rewarding world of homesteading.
