Sumter Equestrian Center, Inc was established in 2003 and is a growing horse show facility in the Heart of Central Florida. Sumter Equestrian Center was built by the Wade Family with family-oriented horse shows in mind. We strive to offer competitive yet affordable horse shows to our followers each year. SEC offers one of the most competitive venues for Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage riders as well as All Breed horse shows in Florida. We play host to many Florida and National horse show clubs, including the American Ranch Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association, Interscholastic Equestrian Association, Area 4-H Horse Shows, Sumter County & Florida 4-H Horse Advisory Horse Shows, American Driving Society's Combined Driving Events, Warmblood Society Inspections, and the Southern Draft Horse Association Horse Pulls. Interstate 75 runs right through Bushnell. Tampa is an hour away. There is a lot of nature in the area. Parks, trails, and the turnpike are nearby. Inverness is a cute town nearby with shopping There is Bushnell Motorsports Park: Features a 2/3-mile competitive go-kart racing track with 16 turns. Also the Withlacoochee River and parts of the Withlacoochee State Forest trail system are nearby
