Welcome to my beautiful land on a dead-end street :) We have 30 peaceful acres which we homestead on. Pretty flat field to camp on. Close to beaches & outdoor activities. There are deer here, so in the mornings, you might catch a glimpse! Lots of wildlife in the area. The field has 3 protected gopher tortoise dens, which are always a pleasure to see! No toxic spray anywhere on land. No city pollution so the stars are amazing at night, great for photographers! My land has a water supply on the driveway if needed; make sure to turn it off. In addition, if you want to park in the driveway, make sure you're pulled to one side or the other so we can get by. Feel free to pitch a tent in the field to the right of the driveway. Come and enjoy southern hospitality and enjoy everything the Emerald Coast has to offer. Groceries & supplies are close by at the Dollar General 1 mile away. Pitch your tent, go fishing, head to the beach, or spend the day thrift store shopping. We have some really great natural springs within 30 minutes. Walk around the historic downtown Defuniak Springs and have some of the best ice cream around! We also have one of only two completely round natural springs in the entire world in downtown DS. Defuniak Springs has an amazing Farmers Market every weekend along with fun activities for all ages. Lots of lakes and rivers with easy kayak and boat access. We're between 3 really large national forests and just north of the Choctawhatchee Bay which is famous for Crab Island and the Destin Harbor. The panhandle has it all! Located 3 minutes from hwy 90 and 10 minutes from i-10. Dollar General market 1 mile away. 2 miles to gas station. 15 min. from Love's for the dumping station. Just 30 minutes north of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. 30 minutes from Ponce de Leon Springs and 20 minutes south of Alabama/FL border. Other notable locations include: Pensacola 1 hour. Panama City Beach 1 hour. Tallahassee 2 hours. Several natural springs are located near Defuniak Springs, FL, including Jackson Blue Spring Recreation Area, Fanning Springs, and Poe Spring County Park. These springs offer opportunities for swimming, tubing, and other water activities.
