We have a small home in a laid back neighborhood, a few blocks from the beach. Many local beaches are actually still free! So, take a nice long walk at sunrise or low tide, go shelling, surf or paddle out……. The beach will call out to you any time of the day here!! We’re close to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral, and Cocoa Beach. There are a few restaurants w/in walking distance. The drive out towards Melbourne beach, Sebastian, and Vero beach on A1A is also a should do; as there is a treasure museum, sea turtle visitor center, lots of free beaches, a lobster shack, short hiking preserves, and a long, safe, easy bike sidewalk adjacent to the ocean, which goes on for miles.
