Hobbiton is a privately held 70+ acre nature preserve bordering on the Wakulla River. There are 3 family cabins on the property including one level firm grass RV spot with easy access pull through and "no backing required" turn around that includes black water dump, 30 amp power and potable water access plus multiple Boondocker spots if no services are required. Overnight guests would have access to a dock on the river and free use of kayaks🛶 and thrift store bicycles🚴‍♀️🙂. The 64,000 acre St.Marks National Wildlife Refuge and Lighthouse (one of the top birding and wildlife viewing areas in America), Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park (the largest and deepest single vent spring on the planet), the Wakulla River and the St.Marks River are all within 15 minutes and both a multiple mile network of paved bike paths (including the Tallahassee to St.Marks "Rail to Trail" corridor) and the 1500 mile long Florida Trail pass right by our front gate. Supplies are available at Dollar General five minutes away, larger Crawfordville with Publix, Aldi and Walmart 15 minutes away plus any and all services in Tallahassee the capital of Florida 30 minutes away.
