About
This 4th generation registered Black Angus ranch offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by pastoral beauty and quality farm products. Guests enjoy expansive views of the Boise Valley and mountains, with a working cattle and sheep operation visible from the levelgravel parking area. The property sits adjacent to a National Wildlife Refuge and Lake Lowell, making it an ideal base for observing local wildlife including deer, birds, and cattle while remaining conveniently close to towns like Caldwell and Nampa.
The on-site farm store stocks a impressive selection of frozen and fresh farm products, including Black Angus beef, lamb, locally raised pork, bison, eggs, honey, handmade knitwear, soaps, and specialty items. Guests consistently praise the quality and taste of the meats available for purchase, and the staff can arrange for items to be thawed in advance for those planning to cook during their stay. The store also features seasonal produce and wool products crafted on the property.
A one-hour guided ranch tour is available by advance arrangement, offering visitors the opportunity to learn about the operation and meet the animals up close—many guests highlight bottle-feeding lambs and observing the cattle as memorable experiences. The level parking area accommodates RVs easily, with water and electric hookups available, and the quiet setting provides an ideal spot to enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets over the surrounding landscape.
Guests consistently describe stays here as peaceful, welcoming, and restorative, returning repeatedly and appreciating both the natural beauty and genuine hospitality of the property. The combination of easy access, comfortable parking, quality farm products, and serene country views creates a uniquely authentic farm experience just minutes from local amenities.
