Nestled in the farmland of the Magic Valley in Southern Idaho, our home offers convenient access to a variety of nearby sites, outdoor adventures, and local gems. Just a few miles away lies Shoshone Falls—often called the “Niagara of the West”—where the Snake River plunges 212 feet over a 900-foot-wide basalt cliff, creating breathtaking views as well as an 11 mile walking and biking trail along the the canyon rim. You can stop at the visitor center on the West end of the trail and watch base jumpers leap from the Perrine bridge into the canyon below. There is mountain biking and kayak entry at Auger Falls park and in the South Hills Area plenty of hiking and biking as well as off road vehichle trails. Just an hour north is beautiful Sun Valley where you can behold the majestic Sawtooth, Smoky, Pioneer and Boulder mountians and of course all the skiing, biking, and hiking you could want. Craters of the Moon National park is approximatley 1 1/2 hours slightly northeast and it does not disappoint. Utah and all its parks are to the south and Yellowstone and the Tetons to the East. Whichever way you are headed, we hope our home is a perfect rest stop and that you might get to enjoy one of our glorius sunsets.
