We are still building the new "shouse" here in the Magic Valley area and while we're quietly working we'd love to share the area with Boondockers Welcome guests. We are about 10 miles from I-84, but if you're looking for a unique rural night or two reprieve from the road, it's a great spot to take a break. Parking & Navigation: We have a tree covered, grassy area near our garden shed available on our new Idaho lot. Shed provides water and power if you need it. To park in this main spot does require backing down between the trees. You can pull down the driveway, continue forward twoard the left most garage door at the house, then back down the tree lane. The longer you are, the more you need to pull up to our shouse. (checkout the included marked up photo). Alternative parking options without power can be anywhere around the building. So, if access or departure angle would be problematic, you're welcome to just park anywhere else including the driveway. We are in a rural area which can be quiet except here you'll be next to a roaring creek. So if you don't like water noise, this may not be ideal. We also do have a train activity through town that you can hear from the property when outside. The tracks are less than 1/4 mile from us. If you're really sensitive to train whistles, then we may not be a great stop after all. There are 2 groceries stores in the nearby town along with fuel, laundromat, and a handful of restaurants. If you're traveling through to see the sites you'll be an hour or less away from some interesting areas along the Snake River Canyon in Hagerman, Buhl, and Twin Falls. Although this hosting site is new as of late 2024, this is our 2nd location and we've been hosts since 2018. We enjoy meeting very traveler and sharing a safe parking spot. Sometimes it's nice to get away from the truckstops, Walmarts, crowded RV parks and have a little more space. When we travel, we're regular BW users and appreciate being able to pay it forward to others.
