About
Located in Midcoast Maine on the edge of Wiscasset, "The prettiest little village in Maine", originally a Native American settlement, Wiscasset adopted its Abenaki name, which means “coming out from the harbor but you don’t see where.’’ The property is wooded and at the beginning of a dead end residential street. It is just over the bridge on the left. It has a tight left turn on entry but there is room to circle around to the one gravel parking spot next to the house. It is slightly off level for drainage down to the tidal creek. No hookups but that side of the property receives excellent light for solar and there is a well for water and washups.

HOST
I moved to Maine from the Boston area in 2020 and so I'm still finding new places to explore in my own neighborhood. I'm a single woman who lived in her van for about eight months before Covid so I know how hard it can be to find a quiet, safe and cozy spot and how wonderful and caring all the hosts have been to me in the past, so I like to pay it forward. I was born and raised in California and have made at least four cross-country trips from as far south as Marfa, TX, to Helena MT in the north and most places inbetween. I'm not on Facebook but having a service like this is such a blessing.

Parking & Arrival
The parking pad is gravel on clay so it had to be graded to drain. If the drive gets really wet, a heavy vehicle's tires will spin. At least it's not mud and not as messy as sand! but leveling blocks will be required on one side. There is room for the tow vehicle or trailer on the side but it will be a snug fit to park them side-by-side. There is plenty of space to park your tow vehicle elsewhere. This location is best suited for Class B and Class C vehicles but smaller more compact trailers will work too.
