About
This family-owned alpaca farm spans 6½ acres in rural Maine and welcomes RV guests with level, private camping spaces that offer serene views of the pastures. The property is home to 18 huacaya alpacas, two guardian llamas, and numerous chickens, creating an engaging farm experience right from your campsite. Guests frequently mention the peaceful, quiet setting and the thoughtful layout that allows for morning observation of the animals from the comfort of your RV. The on-site farm store offers a curated selection of alpaca-fiber products—including hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, and socks—alongside seasonal vegetables, artisan soaps, handcrafted items, and other goods. Visitors consistently praise the quality and variety available, making it a pleasant stop for unique, locally-made souvenirs and essentials. Guided farm experiences bring guests into direct contact with the animals. Feeding tours allow visitors to meet and hand-feed the alpacas and llamas while learning about their care and temperament, while alpaca path walks offer another way to explore the property and connect with the resident herd. For those interested in fiber arts, the location serves as a dealer for spinning wheel equipment and offers opportunities to discuss and explore the farm's yarn production process. Weather permitting, evening campfires with marshmallows create a welcoming, social atmosphere where guests gather with the family for conversation and s'mores. Visitors consistently describe the experience as warm, hospitable, and genuinely memorable—a place that feels like a retreat rather than a transient stop.
