If you want to camp near the beach in York, this is your spot! Located at Grain Surboards, a short 1/4 mile from Long Sands Beach, you will be within a 10 minute walk of a great beach day and local restaurants. We have 2 spaces identified onsite adjacent to our surf shop and board building workshop for you to enjoy. Our sites are located in a grassy area off to the side of our shop with communal access to picnic tables, a fire pit and grassy area for chilling after a day of fun in the surf. Grain Surfboards is a world renowned builder of beautiful wooden surfboards. Visit their store where you can pick up some apparel, cold drinks and ice coffee, locally made sorbet and even a surfboard if your ready to hit the waves. The overall site is also home to a boat storage area and farm stand for morning baked goods, lunch, art and gifts. It is a bustling spot by day and a quiet and safe location by night. Please note: this is not remote camping. Our space is in a residential neighborhood and adjacent to our shop and store.
