About
The historic Mexico Farms Equestrian Center has been helping families foster bonds with their equine partners for over 30 years. Mariah Greene has been serving as the lead instructor for over a decade. In 2018, Mariah was met with her first special needs student and in that moment she realized her purpose in life.
In 2021, The Therapeutic Riding Center of Western Maryland was born. The owners of the facility Tommy & Diane Wellons, witnessed first hand the life changing breakthroughs equine-assisted therapy was having in our community; and graciously donated the property to empower Mariah's non-profit vision to create The Therapeutic Riding Center of Western Maryland!
