Park on Route 66 is located right on Route 66 on the east side of Joplin, Missouri, just one mile off of 249 which is the bypass for Interstate 49 around Joplin and just 2 miles off of Interstate 44 We have a gravel lot that is level and convenient to access right off Route 66. Park on Route 66 offers Self Contained RV travelers a fenced, well-lit, Safe, Secure 24-hour parking space, gated, with license plate recognition for secure entry, located right on Route 66 with 2 acres of green space along Turkey Creek to stretch and relax with your family and pets during your overnight stay, with restaurants and shopping just minutes away. Park on Route 66 is overnight parking, we are NOT an RV park, though for a small fee we do not mind if you decide to stay a few days, we do have water but do not offer any electric hook-ups or dumping (waste disposal) and there are No Tent Camping Sites. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away and Purcell Tire Service is just next door if those types of services are needed. Once your stay request is Approved you will be asked to email us a picture of your License Plate number so it can be entered into our system, the gate opens when the camera recognizes your License Plate number so it may be necessary to adjust your vehicle accordingly. You will also be sent a copy of our lot map with your parking assignment.
