About
Let history whisper its ancient secrets to you as you chart a course for an experience like no other, right in the heart of Missouri. Imagine parking your RV amidst the charm and mystery of a landscape that has been millions of years in the making. Welcome to a premier RV camping spot where the marvels of nature meet the echoes of the past, offering visitors a unique blend of exploration, education, and serenity. This one-of-a-kind destination is carved into the venerable limestone formations dating back to the Mississippian age, inviting you to embark on a journey through time. Marvel at a show cave that was unveiled to the world in 1925, where history is literally etched into the ground you walk on. The crystal-clear lake within the cave proudly bears the original footprints of its discoverer, Arthur Browning, serving as a timeless testament to human curiosity and the spirit of exploration. The adventure doesn't end there. Complementing the natural wonders above and below ground, a meticulously curated museum awaits your discovery. Here, artifacts, antiques, and a breathtaking collection of rocks, minerals, and fossils tell tales not just of this locale, but of the Earth itself. Collected by the founder's daughter, each piece is a portal to understanding our planet's intricate history and the delicate interplay of forces that shape it. Family-owned and operated with the same passion and dedication that led to its discovery, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the mystery and beauty of this cave through guided tours. Knowledgeable guides lead you on an hour-long journey, revealing the stories and secrets that lie within. Whether you're 12 or 112, the beauty of this hidden gem is bound to enthrall and inspire. Whether you're an avid RV camper seeking your next adventure, a student of geology eager to see theory spring to life, or a family looking for an educational and exciting outing, this destination has something for everyone. Check into an RV camping experience unlike any other, where nature's artistry and history's whispers merge to create memories that will last a lifetime.
