About
Now with 50-amp service (modest fees will apply based on use), Olde Farm is located just outside Lincoln, NE. Our farmhouse was built around 1912, originally on 160 acres, then scaled down to the existing 5 acres which is part country with farmland across the road, part 3-acre beautiful homesites. We are not in the middle of nowhere, but it’s still generally quiet. We’re about a mile from a nice lake/wildlife reserve, and 10 minutes to restaurants and shopping. Paved roads, easy access. Hang out in our grain bin gazebo, the corn crib pavilion, fire up one of the tractor rim fire pits, or take a stroll around perimeter trail (an easy stroll around our property). If you want to get away from it all, this probably isn’t your best option. If you want a taste of country in a convenient and safe location, you won’t go wrong.

HOST
Steve and Colleen have enjoyed camping in anything from a pop-up to their restored 1958 Silver Streak Jet or 1969 Airstream that were both eventually sold. While we don't have an RV right now, our 5 acre plot of land keeps us busy. Steve generally works from home in the field of Project Management and technology, also ironically, writing email and web copy for a couple of RV Resorts! Colleen is a substitute teacher. We enjoy gardening and caring for our 1912 farmhouse. For you Husker fans out there, the famous script Husker logo was created right here in the room that is currently my office. Search online for "Win Mumma" and you'll find some fun history! While the paperwork says we are owners, we feel we are more stewards of this house and land. We get great satisfaction out of letting others, like you, enjoy it as well. It's a special place!

Hookup Notes
Unfortunately, we've had guests use electric/water/trash this season and not offer or leave any donation to help cover our costs. Going forward, we are asking for some sort of donation (does not need to be a lot) to help us keep your A/C running. Thanks for understanding.

Parking & Arrival
We might be able to park a larger rig, but there is a short, slightly steep spot in our driveway. Check us out on Google maps street view, and we’ll let you decide. We have had a 30+ footer with no problem. Some leveling will be required, and if it’s not wet, there are many options for parking on the grass or around back by our Grain Bin Gazebo. Turnarounds are no problem when it’s dry, but may be a bit tight (but doable) when wet. Quiet generators are fine, but louder ones could be problematic. We will do our best to make certain you are comfortable.
