The FBR is an area of 430,000 hectares to create a world biosphere reserve on the upper Bay of Fundy coast. It is a unique region in its geological formations, terrestrial and marine ecosystems and cultural heritage. Stonehammer is North America's first UNESCO Global Geopark. A 2500-kilometre region in southern New Brunswick with a geologic history going back 1 billion years. Sentier Fundy Trail Stunning views in every direction as you hug the coast along the Fundy Trail Provincial Park and its 6323 acres. There is a 30-kilometre drive or 35 kilometres of hiking and biking trails featuring 20 coastal lookouts, beaches, waterfalls and a 60 metre suspension bridge leading to the famous Fundy Footpath. Many festivals and events throughtout the season and other organized adventure seeking activities.
