This would be a nice place to park for a few nights to explore the Catskills or if you are passing by on Route 17 and need a place for the night as you travel through. It is in the field next to my house. There is a house across the road. There is also a summer home development behind the property separated by a fence and trees. Sometime in the summer you will hear the happy sounds of children playing outside until about 11:00. It is located about 7 miles out of the village of Monticello. There is a stone fire ring that you are welcome to use responsibly. I can provide you with a bucket of water or 2 to put a fire out when you are done. Suggested Local Attractions:We are located less than 15 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts where you could visit the museum or attend a concert. World Resorts Casino and the Kartrite Water Park are about 10 miles away. You can canoe or kayak about 10 miles away on a reservoir and possibly see a beautiful eagle. About an hour away you can hike Giant Ledge, Slide Mountain or visit Minnewaska State Park .

Access Road Conditions: This is a field on the side of a country road. There is a varying grade from the road to the parking spot. Enter carefully from the more gradual end and exit the steeper end. I tried to capture it in the pictures, but it doesn't show up well. The road can be busy in the summer months, but is mostly calm to quiet in non summer months. If it has been rainy before you arrive, you may find the field soft and large rigs will get stuck. I can let you know the conditions a few days before you would like to camp.
