Directions to Piper’s Pub from NYS Thruway, Exit 19 (Kingston): The GPS street address is 283 Station Road, Hurley, NY 12443. Take Rt. 28 west towards Woodstock / Pine Hill. In 1.3 miles, after passing 2 sets of traffic lights, take a left onto Hurley Mountain Road (County Rt. 5). In 1.5 miles, take a right onto Station Road. There’s a steep, windy, narrow climb. When this flattens out, stay on the paved road to the left. When this flattens out, you’ll have the field where you’ll be parking on your left. The building housing the pub is a large brown structure with a flag pole out front. You should enter the field by looping around the flagpole. The pub is open when I’m available. It is pending for its license to sell beer and is presently a private establishment where I’m happy to offer free samples when I’m around.
