Poultry Production & Honey Bee Farm Experience Our property is home to the North Carolina Center for Poultry Education (NCCPE) and S & N Enterprises LLC, a working, family-operated poultry production farm dedicated to agricultural education, workforce development, and sustainable farming practices. Poultry Production S & N Enterprises LLC has over 30 years of experience in commercial poultry production, operating modern poultry houses that follow strict animal welfare, biosecurity, and environmental management standards. NCCPE uses this real-world farm environment to educate students, educators, industry partners, and the public about food production and the essential role of commercial agriculture. Production tours are available by request only. For the health, safety, and welfare of the animals, no one is allowed inside poultry houses or animal areas unless supervised by farm staff. These practices are critical to maintaining proper biosecurity and animal health. Honey Bee Operation In addition to poultry production, the farm maintains a managed honey bee operation that supports pollination, environmental stewardship, and agricultural education. Guests may observe hives from a safe distance. Direct hive access is limited and available only when appropriate for safety and animal welfare. RV Accommodations We are in the process of expanding our RV accommodations. At this time, we offer: two full-hookup RV sites (water, electric, sewer), expected to be available by March 5th, 2026 Multiple boondocking sites for self-contained RVs Additional full-hookup sites are planned and under development; however, only two full-hookup sites will be available by March 5th, 2026. Boondocking options are currently available and welcomed. What to Expect A peaceful, rural working farm environment Normal farm sounds, equipment movement, and daily agricultural activity Educational signage and opportunities to learn about poultry production, honey bees, and agriculture. At the times we are moving a flock of birds, please be mindful that it's an all-night and day process, it's a busy time, but still welcome.
