Our home is on a 4 acre wooded lot surrounded by Weymouth Woods state park on three sides, beyond the paved road after a long winding gravel driveway. It is very private, quiet, and peaceful. Wildlife routinely visits us--deer, foxes, coyotes, coons, all sorts of birds and butterflies... We have a veggie garden year round and a chicken coop & run. Usually we have 6 laying hens. If they're laying, chance is we'll share some eggs with you! We have a small class B RV on the designated driveway:) If you decide to boondock on our property, you will park your rig behind ours (it's a long driveway). Your rig can be hooked to 50amp power outlet and/or water for a nominal fee to offset our costs. If you're truly boondocking, then it's totally free. We also have an outdoor shower you're welcome to as well at no cost. Since our property is bordering with the state park, you can easily access the park's hiking trails from our yard. We'd be happy to show you how to access them. Southern Pines is a hidden gem town with loads of southern charm, most known for its equestrian sports. Her twin city Pinehurst is most known for world class golfing--US Open is held here! Our lovely towns also have wonderful local art & cultural shows, galleries, concerts, boutique shopping, fine dining, gardens, museums, state park, lakes, etc. You should never run out of things to do here:) People are generally nice here--you'll experience the southern hospitality everywhere.
