About
Please read how to get here DIRECTIONS to avoid miles of gravel roads. If you follow the how to get here directions you will only have 1 1/2 miles of gravel.
Located in central North Dakota you will find our small farm an easy stop-off spot in route to many National Parks ( Medora, Theodore National Park, Lake Sakakawea). Nestled in the rolling hills running along the Lewis & Clark trail, we see buttes and hills in the same condition the native Americans hunted and lived on. Need a dose of quiet? A sunrise or sunset to soak up? Our small 40-acre fiber goat farm may be just the stopover you need. As far as items you may want to purchase from us, we are still evolving.
We grow Pygora(R) goat fiber that hand spinners love to spin so we will have an abundance of fiber ( roving ) for you. Special how to get your fiber order ready for you will be posted in the goat shop. We produce many home-canned food items and we are just getting started with fabric projects like baby receiving blankets, toddler aprons and pillowcases. The rhubarb crop looks to be abundant this season so fresh rhubarb-strawberry preserves will be in the goat shop should you want some. We think you won't leave the place until you purchase 1 or more of our homegrown chicken or duck eggs and you are welcome to visit our herd, the chickens, and our two resident barn cats. Again, please read the how to get here directions as folks are taking a route that have many miles of gravel roads. We think you will be happier heading north on highway 83 and turning west on 149th Ave. Your GPS will tell you to turn on 110th. PLEASE do not listen to her. Continue on highway 83 past 110th and GPS will come to her senses and get the better directions conjured up. One more thing. IF you absolutely have to have electric hook-up; we recommend you give us a message and tell us approximate time of your arrival. We have 30 amp outlets on the south side of our barn. This means you will want a long extension cord to give yourself a nice distance from the barn. We have one super-heavy custom made extension cord that is 110’ in length you can borrow . IF you need or want to use that please let us know in advance. ( we have 2 shorter cords as well) We want to help make your stay the best. Thank you!

Hookup Notes
We do have electrical hook-up outlets near the barn—we have a heavy-duty 115' custom-made 30 amp extension cord to allow you to have a flat surface free of barn traffic. We have additional smaller ext. cords for the 30 AMP setup. The fee is a free-will donation.
Should you need to fill your water tank, the hydrant is close to the barn.
Again, a free-will donation. Thank you.
