About
We have 5 acres about 3 miles north of I-40, approximately 30 minutes east of Oklahoma City. We have a fenced area in our "pasture" with a 10' entry gate, water hookup only, with room to turn around. We can also accommodate a unit up to 32’ in our driveway with water and 30 amp electricity hookup. We have a large fenced yard for dogs to run off-leash if well-behaved once we have established they get along with our two dogs. The area is secure and quiet with little traffic on a dead-end street. Retired Air Force couple Details: Dave retired from the Air Force after 30 years of service in communications then worked at a local college in the IT dept and retired from there. I am a retired Physical Therapist Assistant. We have lived in Turkey, Philippines, Germany, Greece, and Japan as well as OK, FL, RI, SC, and TX with the Air Force as our guide. Dave has enjoyed long-distance backpacking - he did a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail (GA to Maine) in 1997, a section of the Pacific Crest Trail, and 2,400 miles of the Continental Divide Trail. I'm afraid I don't have the fortitude for that but do enjoy most things outdoors! We still think of ourselves as younger than the calendar tells us and still feel there are so many places we still want to see and enjoy! We live on 5 acres with easy access to/from I-40 east of Oklahoma City, OK. We have 2 small dogs that travel with us sometimes. We have a large fenced yard that guest dogs can run in if they get along with our dogs. In the pasture we have free-ranging 5 goats. We have an extra space in our driveway where we can accommodate RVs up 32’. It's quiet out here and relatively convenient to activities in Oklahoma City. We look forward to meeting some new people and going to some new places! Home Town: We live on 5 acres in a small rural area. We’ve been here for 26 years now and enjoy the quiet of rural living. There is a grocery store -5 miles away. Bigger shopping is available approx 20 minutes away. Skills or Expertise to Share: Dave is knowledgeable in electronics and computers. He has a basic idea about most mechanical and repair issues.

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: Two lane road, no shoulders, cornering width limited for very large RVs. We have had 32’ RVS here with no problem. One rig with E/W hookup. Driveway back-in parking, max 32’ rig. One rig with water hookup only, for pull-thru parking in pasture. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We can accommodate up to 32’ rig in the driveway and 35’ in the pasture. The pasture parking has access to water only. The driveway has water and 30 amp electric access. Towed and towing vehicles can be parked on the roadside, in the driveway or in the pasture, depending on size of rig and length of stay. We are on a dead-end street so there is little traffic and limited turn-around capability. Turn around/pull-through capability is only for pasture parking. Pasture parking occasionally not available due to tilling or rain making ground too soft.
