About
Imagine waking up to the gentle hum of nature, with the majestic Mt. Hood towering in the distancewelcome to a rustic haven that's perfect for RV camping enthusiasts seeking an experience peppered with charm and character. On a sprawling 15-acre estate in Sandy, Oregon, a 1917 farmhouse stands at the heart of a dream realized, surrounded by lush greenery and the peaceful presence of graceful alpacas. RV campers will adore the unique opportunity to connect with the land and its inhabitants here. The site's long-standing tradition of hospitality, starting with family portrait photography, evolved into a wedding venue, and now boasts a stunningly curated alpaca farm. Celebrating two decades of success, the host invites guests to indulge in the luxurious softness of alpaca fiber productsfrom warm socks and hats to adorable teddy bearshandcrafted and available for purchase in their quaint farm store and studio. The 'Adopt an Alpaca' program is another gem that allows visitors to form a unique bond with these serene creatures, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for farm life. But the true crown jewel of this homestead is a whimsically enchanting treehouse perched 32 feet high. Recently remodeled with love, it features snug accommodations for families, complete with nostalgic movies, and French doors that reveal a serene view of the Sandy River. For those who seek a dash of adventure woven into their stay, an 18-foot authentic Indian Teepee offers a "Glam-Camping" experience during the summer months. Strategically located 30 miles east of Portland and a stone's throw from the recreational paradise of Mt. Hood, this family-rooted farm serves as a perfect stop-over, bridging the expanse between the high desert of Bend and the rugged Pacific Coast. As the sky transitions from the soft pastel hues of dawn to the fiery colors of dusk, prepare for evenings enveloped in the warmth of a campfire, strumming guitars, and toasting marshmallows under a starlit sky. This is not just RV camping; it's an immersion into a way of lifea serene escape that promises to capture the heart of every traveler.
