About
Nestled in picturesque rolling countryside, this cidery occupies a beautifully restored historic property that serves as a peaceful retreat for travelers. The grounds feature an orchard with diverse heritage apple varieties and stunning scenic views across the farmland, creating an ideal setting for relaxation and exploration. Guests consistently praise the serene atmosphere, with opportunities to walk the property, enjoy quiet evenings under the stars, and take in the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
The cidery produces distinctive apple cider wines crafted using heritage techniques and native flavors, offering a unique tasting experience that sets it apart from conventional hard ciders. The tasting room provides a welcoming, comfortable space where guests can sample the full selection alongside artisanal cheeses and cured meats. Private tastings are available, allowing flexibility for those with varying schedules, and the knowledgeable staff shares fascinating insights into the cider-making process and its historical significance in America.
Guests regularly highlight the exceptional hospitality and genuine warmth extended by the hosts, who go above and beyond to ensure visitors feel welcomed and comfortable. The property offers convenient amenities including level parking areas with electric hookups near the tasting room, water fill stations, and clean facilities. The location strikes an ideal balance between seclusion and accessibility to nearby attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the region while enjoying a quiet, restful stay.
