Pura Vida has special meaning. In Spanish it means “Pure Life”. That saying is the essence of beauty, love, family, desire to be actively engaged in a good cause, independence, and liberty to achieve and make a difference. Our family has been on a health journey and it has brought us here since 2016. We have Jersey Milk cows that produce our wonderful raw milk, pigs, chickens, ducks, sheep, Great Pyrenees livestock dogs, bees, many baby animals and lots more! Come get to know our animals and play with the puppies!! They are so sweet ! This is a true old time 29 acre homestead with an acre organic garden. We have over 100 fruit trees. No herbicide or pesticides here! We don’t even do pharmaceuticals. Instead we use an alternative medicine called Homeopathy for our health needs. A dentist from the early 1900s named Weston Price changed our world. His work is represented in a book called “Nourishing Traditions.” I have also read many books on permaculture, organic gardening, raising livestock on pasture, fermentation, and much more.
