Our home is your home. We are a cattle operation located 15 miles north of Canadian, Texas. It is a little off the path of most, but all are welcome! RV Details: Spacious pull-through parking (no RV length limit and no backing up needed). One 50-amp electric hookup only (no 30-amp). Fresh water is available, and there is a dump station on site (not right next to the parking area). The electrical hook up is on an asphalt drive between the house and the shop. Multiple RVs are welcome, but there is only one electrical hookup. You can dry camp or run generators almost anywhere at the main headquarters. Pets must be kept on a leash due to the possibility of scaring cattle and chasing free-range chickens. We have two dogs that free range, but are very friendly and great with other dogs. Our days start early with feeding cattle, doing chicken chores, feeding bottle calves, caring for cats, and our two big, friendly dogs. The RV hookup is right in the main work area, so be prepared for early morning activity. The feed truck is started about 7am. You are welcome to join in on any activities happening around the ranch. If there is anything you want to see or do, just ask! Our 7-year-old loves showing guests the playground equipment, trampoline, swings, garden, feeding chickens, and petting the horses so we are a perfect stop to families. We grow seasonal vegetables and are happy to share them, along with eggs and sand plum jelly, when available. Our two college-aged boys are away at school but may stop by from time to time.
