About
Unleash the charm of the countryside as your RV rolls into a serene farmstead oasis where nature's choir greets you with harmonious tunes. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an interactive agrarian adventure, this working farm jewel offers an unparalleled RV camping experience amidst free ranging ducks and the tranquil buzz of diligent honeybees. Revel in the simple joys of rural life as you collect eggs right from the ducks, exchange nuzzles with affectionate rabbits, and bond with friendly dogs and cats. The pastoral landscape invites you to unleash playfulness with a carefree kite-dance against a backdrop of azure skies, free from the obstruction of trees and power lines. RV enthusiasts with a penchant for fresh, farm-to-table produce will be delighted with the seasonally available bounty of tomatoes, squash, sweet corn, and an array of other nutrient-rich veggies and fruits. Enhance your meals with the unique taste of duck eggs or savor rabbit meat, both sourced straight from the farm. Treat your palate to artisanal home-baked breads, handcrafted jams, mustards, salsa, and seasoning blends, perfect for elevating any campsite cuisine (make sure to check online or enquire within for product availability). Eager naturalists can immerse themselves in the diverse wildlife tableau surrounding the farm, where sightings of majestic bald eagles or elusive mountain lions add an invigorating thrill to your stay. Remember to pack a sense of adventure as you may encounter an eclectic array of creatures, both day and night. For those RV campers craving local culture, you're a mere twenty-minute jaunt to the Jewett Flea Market, brimming with finds every second Saturday. Vibrant country music fills the air at the New Baden Jamboree, just ten minutes away, providing classic entertainment on the first Saturday of each month. This RV camping haven marries the allure of agriculture with the spirit of the Texan wilderness, offering a perfect slice of rural America where the narrative of heartwarming farm experiences and bounteous nature awaits.

Parking & Arrival
GPS navigation is notoriously terrible out here. We recommend you use the pindrop on Google Maps for Hollydew Farm. We are NOT located in the city limits of Franklin. We are between Franklin & Marquez, about 0.75 mile off of highway 79 (15 miles north of Franklin, 7 miles south of Marquez in the community of Ridge). Once you turn onto Holly Road, there will be a gas well about 0.75 mile from the highway. We are the very next driveway on the left past this gas well. Look for 841 on the fence beside the gate. When you enter onto the property, make sure you stay in the ruts of the driveway, even if there is water in the ruts. If you leave the ruts, there is a very good chance you will get stuck! Check in for parking instructions. Please call if you need help finding us.
