Welcome to Witches Hollow Bridge at Birchveil Estate, situated on 38 wooded acres in the secluded hills of North Pomfret, Vermont. Here you can park right on the bridge and fall asleep to the sound of a babbling brook flowing beneath you. The bridge is 20 feet wide and built to carry heavy rigs, so there’s plenty of room to settle in. Lanterns on the posts welcome you as evening falls. Step off and you’ll find our Nordic cross country ski trails, carefully built so you can take in the quiet of the forest. They make a peaceful walk with your morning coffee, an afternoon of exploring with the dog, or a glide on skis once the snow falls. Need power? A 15 and 30-amp hookup is right at the bridge for $15 per day. When you’re ready to explore, the charming and whimsical village of Woodstock is just a 15-minute drive away, with its covered bridge, village green, cozy shops, and some of the best food in Vermont. Then come home to the quiet of the woods. We can’t wait to host you!
