About
Where the mountains of Southwest Virginia carve through the landscape, a farm steeped in history and tradition offers a unique RV camping experience that intertwines the charm of rural life with the serenity of nature. Established in 1876 and now shepherded by its fifth generation, this sprawling 650-acre homestead invites travelers to step into a world where animal agriculture thrives amidst breathtaking scenery. Here, beef, sheep, dairy, and the occasional pig roam freely, embodying the farm's commitment to sustainability and love for the land. Beyond merely a place to park your RV, this destination is a gateway to engaging with farm life. Explore fields where crops are meticulously grown, not only to feed the resident animals but also to diversify the farms operations, including specialty crops that add a unique flair to its agricultural repertoire. Visitors have the extraordinary chance to see farming up close, learn about the intricacies of managing such an expansive operation, and even partake in the harvesting of fresh vegetables. For those looking for more than just a scenic view, the farm hosts events that celebrate the local culture and the bounty of the land. Discover an array of CBD products, derived from the farm's own crops, offering a slice of wellness amidst the tranquility of the Virginia mountains. Fresh vegetables, available seasonally, promise a taste of the farm's rich harvest, ideal for those seeking to connect their travel experience with the flavors of the local terroir. Whether youre looking to make a purchase, partake in a tour, or simply wish to support the farm through a donation, your visit contributes to the preservation of this historic homestead. As night falls and the stars take their place in the clear mountain sky, RV campers at this farm are not just guests but part of a centuries-old legacy that continues to flourish. Here, among the gentle rustle of the trees and the distant calls of farm animals settling down for the night, an unbeatable sense of peace and connection to the earth awaits.
