At our farm, we aim to offer you a safe and relaxing haven on your travels. We are an organic mini-farm located just outside Staunton, Virginia, in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, committed to ecologically sound farming practices. Our small flock of chickens is fed a non-GMO, soy-free organic diet, plus berries and greens from the farm, resulting in delicious, nutritious eggs! You will find very little traffic here, save for the farm equipment that occasionally passes slowly down the road to their farm destination. And if you fancy a walk in the country, just down the way you may see a variety of horses, sheep, donkeys and cattle grazing in the rolling countryside. The farm itself is a-buzz with many varieties of birds and other pollinators. You can't miss the chickens announcing when they have laid their eggs for the day. Deer, bunnies and squirrels visit to see what goodies might be on the menu, and you may here the sound of owls hooting in the woods behind the farm (though I have yet to spot one)! This is a very unique area to visit. Nearby, you can find many varieties of farms and interesting destinations such as a creamery, vineyards, breweries, an herbary and apiary, a lavender farm, the oldest working mill in Virginia, and a farm that produces wood-fired sourdough breads, pastries, and pizzas.
