Welcome to our Farm, a veteran-owned Virginia Century Farm nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Grayson County. Continuously operated by our family since 1800, our historic 1,600+ acre farm offers visitors a glimpse into generations of Virginia farming tradition. We sustainably raise grass-fed and finished beef cattle and sheep, including Clun Forest and Dorper lambs, while carefully managing our pastures, creeks, and wildlife habitats. The farm is also home to Donnan Orchard, a 1,000-tree apple orchard showcasing sustainable fruit-growing practices. At an elevation of approximately 2,600 feet, Summerfield Farm features scenic mountain pastures and hardwood forests. With roughly 435 acres of hunting land, the property provides excellent habitat for whitetail deer and wild turkey. Come experience the natural beauty, agricultural heritage, and peaceful surroundings of a farm that has been cared for by the same family for more than 225 years.
