About
This historic 200-acre working farm on the Long Beach Peninsula offers a uniquely serene camping experience nestled among mature holly groves, blueberry patches, and cranberry bogs. Guests are surrounded by peaceful rural landscapes with old and new growth forests, native flora and fauna, and century-old rhododendrons—creating an ideal retreat from busier RV parks. The self-serve setup allows visitors to arrive and park at their leisure, with clear instructions and ample spacious spots separated by trees for privacy.
The property shines during harvest seasons, particularly August through October when guests can enjoy fresh blueberry and cranberry picking directly from their campsite. The towering blueberry bushes—some of the largest visitors report seeing—produce abundant, delicious berries perfect for morning picking and meals. Those visiting in October can harvest fresh cranberries from the working bogs, adding a truly unique agritourism experience that appeals to families and food enthusiasts alike.
Located just minutes from the charming town of Long Beach and the 28-mile Long Beach peninsula beach, this farm provides an excellent base for exploring local attractions, including museums, shops, restaurants, and seasonal events like the international kite festival. The nearby coastline, cranberry museum, and historic towns make it an ideal stop for travelers heading to or from Astoria and surrounding areas.
Visitors consistently praise the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—even when multiple rigs are present, the tree-separated spots maintain a sense of solitude and seclusion. The property welcomes well-behaved pets on leash and accommodates large rigs with spacious, mostly level parking nestled among the trees. Whether seeking a one-night rest stop or a multi-night stay to explore the Pacific Northwest, guests find this working farm an exceptional and memorable alternative to traditional campgrounds.
