About
Perched on a sprawling 400-acre working ranch in Goldendale, Washington, this location offers a peaceful retreat with unobstructed panoramic views of Mount Adams, Mount Hood, and the surrounding valley. The property sits elevated above the landscape, providing stunning vistas at sunrise and sunset, along with exceptional night-sky viewing. Guests consistently praise the serene, quiet atmosphere despite the ranch's proximity to regional attractions like the Goldendale Observatory and local heritage sites.
The ranch welcomes RVs and large rigs with multiple level parking options on gravel, including pull-through and back-in sites with electrical hookups available at many locations. A covered communal kitchen area features a vintage wood stove, BBQ facilities, water, and refrigeration for guest use. The expansive grounds invite exploration, with access to lush gardens, greenhouses, and various farm animals including sheep, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, and cows. Guests are welcome to tour the barns and greenhouses by request and experience hands-on ranch activities like harvesting vegetables and interacting with the working farm dogs.
An on-site farmstand offers an array of locally grown and produced items including grass-fed beef and lamb, fresh eggs, vegetables, honey, jams, pickled goods, and various gift items available on an honor-system basis. The property features two fire pits for evening gatherings when fire conditions permit, and guests can enjoy the rustic ambiance of ranch life with well-maintained grounds and beautiful gardens featuring colorful wildflowers and seasonal blooms.
This location provides an authentic farm experience in a tranquil setting that respects the land's natural beauty. The welcoming environment, combined with the opportunity to support a working ranch and enjoy farm-fresh products, makes this a memorable stop for travelers seeking both relaxation and genuine connection to agricultural heritage.
