Welcome to Among the Trees, our peaceful getaway tucked into the rolling hills of Goldendale, Washington. We’re in the exciting early stages of planning our lavender and herb farm, and we’d love to have you be part of the journey from the very beginning. When you arrive, you’ll find yourself surrounded by tall pines and oak groves, wide-open skies, and the kind of stillness that melts away stress. Our ridge-top cabin overlooks sweeping views, and down below, we’re building the heart of the farm: planting beds, pollinator gardens, medicinal herb gardens, and plenty of lavender! During your stay, visit the Little Lavender Farm Store—where you’ll be able to shop all-natural lavender goodies crafted with care, and check out our little greenhouse, where we propagated over 1000 lavender cuttings this year! We have level parking areas available for RVs and travel trailers (currently no hookups). The property offers both sunny and shaded spots, depending on the season and your preference. Whether you’re here for one night or a couple of days, you’ll have room to relax, enjoy the fresh country air, and take in the star-filled night skies that Goldendale is famous for. Our location is just minutes from the Columbia River Gorge, award-winning wineries, and the renowned Goldendale Observatory—an International Dark Sky Park perfect for stargazing. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, and scenic drives. While our plants aren’t planted yet, you might see us working on the garden layout, preparing the soil, or setting up spaces that will soon be bursting with life. Guests are welcome to stop by, say hello, and see what’s coming together. You’ll be visiting at a time when our dream is still unfolding—your stay directly supports the next steps in bringing it to life. We kindly ask that guests respect the quiet rural environment and leave no trace. Pets are welcome if kept on a leash, as we have livestock on-site. Please note that harvest host guests will be staying on the lower part of the farm.
