Snowy Range Alpacas is an alpaca farm originally founded in 2007 at the basin of the Snowy Range Mountains in WY. Now located in Spokane County, WA, we have a full 33 acre ranch with a large variety of animals. Through the years, we have bred our beautiful alpaca and other animals and helped and mentored many new farms. We offer award-winning fiber, yarn and Alpaca-themed items. Our Ranch is nestled in Saltese Hills In Greenacres, WA near Spokane Valley close to the border of Idaho.. we are located up Mica Peak at an approximate 2,500 foot elevation. Incredible mountain views and a wonderful climate make this the ideal setting for our fluffy, adorable animals to thrive. FARM TOUR: One of our most requested services includes our extremely popular guided interactive farm tour open to the public by appointment only. The tour is one hour in length and includes an interactive guided tour through our farm with complete interaction with the alpaca and all other farm animals, including Scottish Highland Cows, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Mediterranean Mini Donkeys, Holland Lop Rabbits and Valais Blacknosed Sheep. We also have Siberian Huskies that are very friendly and love pets. Guests can cuddle, love, pet, walk, feed and brush all the animals , all while learning everything about alpacas including facts about their diet, biology, breeding and birthing, behavior, lifestyle habits, sheering , fiber maintenance and much more. Visitors are given a private tour (with only the group with whom they booked) to have an opportunity to take as many photos/selfies with the animals for personal (non-commercial use) and enjoy time learning about these unique animals, The tour ends with a visit to our barn store filled with darling alpaca themed promotional items such as darling stuffed animals and many items made of 100% alpaca fiber, such as alpaca made yarn, dryer balls, scarves, gloves, hats, ponchos and more. 2026 tour pricing is $35 plus tax for adults and $20 plus tax for kids 12 and under.
