The workshop was founded in 1999 and relocated to Alabama in 2022, where it operates as a full creative studio run by Tori and her husband Steve. Both are Veterans. Every piece is handcrafted, American-sourced, and made by a Veteran, First Responder, or direct family member. We make one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces including custom resin tables, river tables, and large resin art; chandeliers made from keepsake wine bottles; 3D printing and custom designs; memorial lanterns, candles, and ash-infused keepsakes; military challenge coins, awards, and plaques; custom merch like T-shirts, tumblers, hats, and mugs; wood signs and business signage; and DTF printing and event materials. If you can imagine it, we can create it. Everything we do supports our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, V.I.C.S. Ranch (Veterans Independent Connected Support Ranch). We use art therapy, creative workshops, and hands-on skill-building to help Veterans and First Responders regain independence, discover new passions, combat PTSD, and prevent suicide through purpose and community. We proudly call it "22 In The Middle", honoring the 22 Veterans lost to suicide each day. During your stay, you're invited to create your own custom souvenir — a resin piece, T-shirt, tumbler, 3D printed sculpture, plaque, memorial lantern, wood sign, or any project you choose. You can participate hands-on or relax and watch as we bring your idea to life. We also offer shipping of finished pieces to your home or directly to a gift recipient. Swimming pool and hot tub, billiards, poolside fire pit, BBQ grill and outdoor eating area, picnic area, enclosed Zen Porch, WiFi, 30-amp electrical hook-up, water tank refill, and kayak rentals with transportation to the Elk River (5 miles away) or the Tennessee River. A kayak guide is available with advance notice. Please note some amenities are seasonal. We're conveniently located 45 minutes from Huntsville (NASA's U.S. Space and Rocket Center) and 1 hour 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee. Donations are always welcome at vicsranch501c3.org.
