We live 11 miles north of town, on a small side street. The lower lawn can hold 1 or 2 class "B" sized R.V.'s. Size is dictated by how sharp a corner your rig can make. We can run an electrical cord down, water and sewer dump are free in town by ferry terminal. We get 160" to 200" of rain a year, yes that's 16 feet of rain. Hiking trails are beautiful and wet. This is the Salmon capitol of the world, many people from all over the world come to fish. 3 to 5 Hugh cruise ships every day during the summer tourist season, downtown is busy. Ward Lake area is peaceful and the walking trails are spectacular with plenty of parking 6 miles north of town. You arrive by Alaska Ferry, and you depart by Alaska Ferry. You can stay till the next ferry leaving in the direction you wish to take (3 to 5 days). Suggested Local Attractions:Downtown during summer is like Disney Land with an Alaskan Twist to it. Alaska Timber Show, Duck (amphibian) tours, etc.
